Pakistan is a Multiethnic Country located in South Asia. Pakistan is home to 220,892,340 people. In 1947, Pakistan gained independence from India. Mohammed Ali Jinnah founded Pakistan and helped create a name for the Pakistan. In Pakistan, there are four provinces: Balochistan, Punjab, Sindh,and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Urdu is the national language of Pakistan. It is a mixture of Persian, Arabic, and various local languages. It is similar to Hindi but written in Arabic script.

About 97 percent of all Pakistanis are Muslims. Official documentation states that Sunni Muslims constitute 77 percent of the population and that adherents of Shia Islam make up an additional 20 percent. Christians, Hindus, and members of other religions each account for about 1 percent of the population.
